Changing fender from 07-11?

Default Changing fender from 07-11?
Has anyone done anything custom with the fender on the 07-11s to remove the vertical grille, and change it either be open or look more like the 2012+ fenders? I know you cant change them without changing the headlights, which means you then have to change the bumper.

Bump? anyone every do anything with this? The only part I hate on the 07-11 xkr Is the fender trim.
