Default Checking in at the asylum with my new toy

Hi All!

I thought long and hard about re-purchasing my old XKR back. Guy offered it $1000 less after a year and 600 miles. Ultimately the wife never found it comfortable so I picked up another British marquee.

It's a 2007 with 63k on the clock. Well maintained. It's a Diamond edition (400 built) with carbon ceramic brakes. The sticker on this car was $198k.

With the price of fuel I thought it the perfect time to buy a 12 cylinder twin turbo!

Hope you all are doing well!

A great car. I had one for five years. The 1800 mile fast trip from north of England to southern Spain takes 50% more fuel in the Bentley. When you're filling the tank for the third time in a day, it's a little eye-watering.

My wife preferred the Bentley but she wasn't paying the bills! I found it excellent for long distance Continental touring although needed to be very careful on the narrow mountain roads up to the villages in southern Spain. The XK is a lot quicker in that environment.
