Took the car in today to get the parking sensors sorted as they have been playing up at the rear. Found out the front sensors only work when you’ve stopped and put the car in reverse despite driving forwards into a space!! Wtf?!
also I mentioned I’d recently had to top the coolant twice and the guys checked this and found the pipe between the top of the engine and coolant tank had split - nice save as that would’ve lead to a catastrophic overheat and as it was caused by the rubber pipe it wouldn’t have been covered by my warranty. £130 seems like a good let off!!

 

To get the front sensors to work without first putting it into reverse press the center button in the over head console, instructions in the hand book
