Default Convertible panel loose....scary

Hey guys,
Anyone experienced a loose panel (leading to a popping noise when the top goes up as the panel cover slides in under the too)? For the life of me I can't seem to seat it properly.

Any tips would be appreciated. See attached picture.

Fixed mine a few months ago. There are two pins at the rear of the piece and two at the front. The front pins ride in the upper track and the rear in the lower. What happened on mine was the upper guide track track had a chip out of it so it hung up. When the top went down it pushed the piece down so the front pins dropped into the lower guide track. The next time the top went up it got stuck and broke the string (actually pulled out of the metal clamp. To fix it I took a small piece of plastic and fixed the guide. Put the pins in the proper track and redid the clamp on the spring. No problems since.
