Default convertible pistons 2007 xk

My 2007 xk convertible developed a leak at the driver's side piston, dealer having extreme difficulty finding an replacement part, Jaguar is not currently manufacturing it, any suggestions on how to find an replacement? Been looking on ebay etc. no luck. thanks

I can't find the thread, but there's a thread here about a company that rebuilds/builds new the hydraulic system. It looked like they did a very good job. I just can't find the thread.

Most locales have a hydraulic rebuild place, there are probably ten within twenty miles of me right now.

I used Top Hydraulics for my 0MY5 and they worked out great. You may want to consider changing all the pistons and latches since they may be all at that stage of failure rather than the one at a time.

Now on my 2013 I'm dealing with the convertible rear window coming apart.
Stuart, I've read all post on the subject and will be trying the Rhino Glue method, thanks for all that info and scope.
I plan on keep this car for awhile so a new GAHH top may be in it's future, We are in south Louisiana so I'm sure I will be chasing the the failure completely around before it is all over.
