Rebuilding convertible hydraulic cylinders

Both my cylinders are leaking and I found a source for the packing's and seals. My question is has anyone successfully overhauled a cylinder? The kit was $172 so it wasn't cheap.

Save yourself some headaches and send them to Top Hydraulics's. couple of days turnaround and a few dollars more than the kits.
The one with the bottom clip holding the line is very important. Don't lose it and also it just pulls out, if you haven't already done it.

Or look around for a local hydraulics shop. The guys here say they can rebuild any cylinder from the size of a wiener to a tree trunk
