Just wondering based on the other thread on the replacement of the convertible top as to how the headliner is installed. Do the replacement tops come with a headliner or do you need to get them installed by and indie or a dealer. Also what are they made out of. I look at my build sheet for my 2012 and have a $900 option of a leather headliner. So when the time comes I somehow think I'll need to see the dealer if I want a direct replacement.

 

I'm pretty sure you reuse the headliner. You can order a replacement top for $700-800 and that just comes with the outside fabric and the glass window. A local shop I talked to wanted about $1000 to install it. I haven't asked the dealer yet. I'm hoping to get another year out of mine.
