Default Convertible top liner issue

I have a 2010 XKR. I had the top replaced a couple of years ago because the window seal went bad. When the outside top was replaced they also replaced the window with one that has Velcro on both sides. Now the inside liner is not staying attached to the Velcro. They are telling me the inside Velcro on the liner is not holding and they want to now replace the inside liner. Is there a fix? Can I glue the two Velcro surfaces together? Its driving me crazy because whenever I drive with the top up I see the sagging in my rear view mirror. Thanks for any help.

Is there a way to secure new velcro to the new liner? Mine is fine and I've never really looked closely at it.

This is a special version of Velcro that need considerable pressure to hold. Have someone press on the outside while you press on the inside at the same spot to snap it together.
