Default Cooling Fans ...again?

I searched and read everything I could find, but I did not find any solutions. Does anyone have any idea what would cause the fans to start as soon at the car door is opened? It clearly isn't an overheating issue and I doubt a stuck thermostat would be the cause either. Possibly a relay or sensor? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have the same problem as yourself . fan kicks on Full as soon as door is opens etc without starting the engine or ignition on , common problem i have seen as i googled it up some of the older jag models suffer from same , fix was either a new thermostat , new fuse , new relay or a new modual in some cases a broken or worn wire , Mine in garage at present for diagnosis

Good luck with this. Too bad others that experienced this problem and started a thread never followed up with their solution. Shame on them.

Any chance you can be more specific about where to look for the worn wire you encountered?
