Could this be the most miles on an XK?
Saw someone post asking about an '07 with 90,000 miles. It got me wondering, and led me to this.
Yep: 290,000 miles. I kind of love this single-owner, 10 year old XK convertible (with a top and rear window that look fine, thank you very much).

Dont be silly, its a Typo.
Car seems to be in excellent condition in keeping with 29000 miles
Very good price.
Perfect color combination for a continental drophead.
Hope someone jumps on it and capitalizes on their mistake. I dont care if it had 600,000 miles, with the paint, interior in that condition, I can put a new engine and trans.

Plus, people on the US East Coast don't seem to remember (or realize) that East Coasters can drive through three STATES in six hours. In the west, sometimes the next CITY is six hours away.

Yeah it does have nearly 300,000 miles on original engine and sealed for life trans.
Gejus, this is an incredible testament to Jaguar reliability.
I know the area well were he put 29000 a year. He was commuting to LA from OC. (wife is from there)
Lots of stop and go- lots of gear changes, lots of AC use.
Somebody needs to save the service history from this car as a treasure trove of what fails and what lasts.

Look at the bright side... driven that much probably not too many battery issues! Driven that much looks like it's had a good life, pretty much the only thing done was engine mounts, serpentine belt, thermostat, brakes and rotors replaced which are usual @137K miles not too shabby! No mention of a tranny service. I'd say they had great luck. testament as to how rugged and hardy these cars can be! Still think they will have a VERY hard time seeing anything over $6K regardless of the blue book saying $9300 but good luck

He wants almost $15K so clearly they are completely delusional... tossing in an offer at @66% of will be wasting both your time regardless of whether it is a realistic price or not. That can be done either via email or a quick phone call though still think it's not worth even investing those few minutes

One of two things must be incorrect or poorly advertised. Obviously, the price or the mileage. If the mileage is correct (which most likely is incorrect or the owner is now broke from upkeep) and the car is pretty much non sell able unless pricing it in half. If the mileage is correct, I'd make it a Thread unique to the mileage to any XK making it a one of a kind. Either way, it would not make me favor buying any XK this vintage.
