Coventry Wheels for Jaguar
It seems to be difficult to get good wheel fitments on XK/XKRs. From personal experience I think the aftermarket wheel industry is light years behind with Jaguars when compared to other marques.

My wife's car is a 2009 XK/R Portfolio Convertible, which I see a couple of you have as well. Either one of those wheels, the Hornet or the Whitley would look great on it, especially since the paint is beginning to flake off the original rims. But you guys are right, Coventry doesn't make a wheel that will fit that car.
I'll take your word for the Alcon brake clearance problem, that's probably enough to make them unusable. But by my measurement, the back wheels are a whopping 11 inches wide! I haven't found ANY aftermarket wheels for Jags that are that wide. (The tires are 285/30 ZR20's, and by my math, and a tape measure, that's 11") The fronts are a puny 10" wide by comparison, and Coventry does have some 10's, but I would have to double check the offsets. It looks like the rear wheels have an offset of 25mm, and the fronts have around 40mm.
Does anyone know of a place to get wheels this size? Does anyone know if those specs are even accurate, or where I can look up the exact wheel specs for the car? I looked in the owner's manual, but it didn't have wheel specs.
Thanks in advance!

The Whitely wheels look good on the XK, and in fact they are very similar to correct (meaning authentic) Jaguar wheels that were offered on other models. I have the OEM Jaguar version, in fact, on my X-Type Sportwagon (photo). Great looking wheels.
IMHO the five spoke wheels leave too much unsupported rim (spoke gap); too easy to bend the rim from pot holes...........
Love my Handkook tires except lost 1.5-2. mpg compared to my Dunlops; anyone else noticed this effect?
Cheers, Adrian

I have spent an incredible amount of time finding aftermarket wheels for our cars. The info on the Alcons is correct.
Your OEM Selena wheels are 8.5 in the front and 9.5" in the back. The tire is not an 11" wide tire and an 11" tire on a 9.5" rim would not work well.
Braelin has a 8.5" front wheel and 10" wheel for the rear.
Be sure to register your 2009 Jaguar XKR Vert on the 2009 XKR Registry page here on the forum.

Everyone can make a misteak! Besides, I am sure you read the word correctly.
You must have been an english teacher at some point in your life. But then again, I may be miss steaken.
Enjoy the holidays.
Richard,
A day without laughter is a sad day, indeed!
I was not an English teacher, but my preverse sense of humor finds misteaks to be amusing (2 intentional errors), particularly when they come from sources that one would expect to know better.
For example, a few days ago WSB (a local Atlanta TV/Radio station) reported on its smartphone app that "... the cops pulled over a driver for wreck less driving...". A few hours later that article was corrected to read "reckless driving". That driver must have been disappointed when he received a citation instead of a commendation.
Happy holidays to you, too, and everyone else on the Forum.
