Default Current draw at idle measurement

Has anyone measured current draw with AC, lights, sound system, etc all turned on while sitting at idle? And anyone know what amperage the alternator is capable of outputting at idle?

I would be too scared to hook up my multimeter like that. On the jeep sure, not on the jag.

I'm guessing this is for your battery swap?

That would be a good point to know. In the LR and Jags, when in reverse at a crawl, at night, there is a noticeable dimming of the lights. Is it a tired and failing alternator or is this normal behaviour?

I would say it's an alternator problem as it's primary function is to keep all of the electrical components of the car within their designed ranges. Any excess charging then goes into the battery.

And I think that as well but, the LRs engine and components are just over a year old.
