Default custom grab handle

Hey Guys,

Have been mulling over installing a tastefully made grab handle for me passenger to have available during her "thrill" ride. I was looking at attaching it to the windshield pillar of me XK.
Anyone considered the prospect? Am seeking ideas or thoughts.

Isn't there an airbag behind the A pillar on the x150? Or did that not come until later years?

I don't think my year and does. Thanks for a good question......

"Standard safety equipment includes advanced driver and passenger front airbags, front-seat head and thorax side airbags and Jaguar's dynamic head restraint system that helps prevent whiplash in case of a rear impact."

Me, I think "grab handle and "tastefully done" in a Jaguar are mutually exclusive. My beat up old 2006 Ford F-250 has a grab handle.
However....... maybe a leather five-point safety harness would be OK.
Or not.

Perhaps something less intrusive is in order. This slides into the door catch and can be used as an aid to exit the vehicle.

Yes, while that tool may help in exiting, (as seen on TV) my handle will assist my passenger in keeping an upright position while enduring "Mr Toads's Wild Ride".
After all, me XK's grandfather had one.....

reminds me of the mid 80's XJ discussions of where to put a cup holder.

It begs the comment, if you want the passenger in your lap, no grab bar.... and floor it when veering right (American model) and likewise lighten up on the pedal when veering left.
If your married and the passenger isn't your wife, you've got yourself a whole new dilemma to sort through.
