Default Daytime running lights - retro fit ?

Hi just wondering if anyone has retro fitted daytime running lights to a 2006 XK 150 in the UK ?

Any advice or recommendations in relation to a suitable kit and wiring / fitting would be much appreciated.

I like the idea of a set on mine but would like them to look professional / original as possible.

You do not need to add anything to the car - it is all in the computer! You get your dealer to configure the lights (DLR) as the Canadian cars are: that is, all the exterior lights are on all the time when the transmission is shifted from PARK to D.

I replaced my fog lights with the LED fog lights from Adamesh and used DRL wiring that I got as part of a "universal" DRL setup where the lights just didn't work. I am sure there are better ways to wire them, but I already had this.

Final result is, with a lot of help from this forum, they look GREAT.

I'm not sure if that option is available on cars that don't have the NAS (North American Specification) build. However, it's worth asking a dealer, or an indy with the Jag diagnostic system, if they can take a look and see if it can be enabled on a UK car. Unfortunately, a lot of things in the diagnostic tool are driven by VIN - if your car's VIN is not supposed to have something, the system may not permit it to be enabled.

Ought to be because DRL are also required in Scandinavian countries.

Or the OP can always just pop the switch into running lamps position
every time he gets in the car. It gets to be a habit as natural as
putting on seatbelts.
