Default Displaying engine temp in the dashboard?

Is it possible to view engine temperature in the dashboard display?

Seems like a standard on every other car ever made.

This is for a 2008 XKR.

Thanks,

Nope, and many people have tried to incorporate aftermarket ones. Some had better luck than others, what with GVIF inputs into the Touch Screen and also OBD displays on phones and tablets, then the dedicated small OBD gauges.
There are options, just none are super easy and good at the same time.

No. You will need to use aftermarket OBDII connection gauges or run a stand alone gauge / sensor setup.

I have mounted a ScanGauge with velcro on my steering wheel "pad" (forward of the steering wheel). It is unobtrusive and quite small. It connects with the OBDII port (of course).

I did the same using the smaller scan gauge which just shows me water temp and voltage. I am not enamored with the looks but it serves it purpose.
