I have the 4.2 SC so the drain plug is on the front (I guess 5.0L owners could just turn the car around LOL)
I am looking to drain / refill the SC with oil without removing it...
Can this be done by sucking out (most) of the oil and replenishing it?
Is there a procedure for doing this?
...and what oil is recommended?
Then for the coolant...
How best to do this? I do not want to deal with the plug on the top so perhaps a vacuum method?
I would be very grateful for any specifics on how to do this.
Many thanks
Phil - check these videos out - the hardest thing is getting the plug out. For coolant I believe there is a drain plug underneath the front end of the car.
Thank you so much McJag!
I have the thermostat manifold off so hopefully the oil change part will be a little less of a pain. I am able to insert a long 3/8" drive allen wrench into the plug from the front of the engine.
Filling the supercharger with coolant without having to remove the filler plug may be more of a challenge.
