This one is being sold by a lunatic. It doesn't show in the pictures but is listed in the ad as a Final Fifty.

Just bought a 2015 Final Fifty DHC. Take possession next Tuesday or Wednesday.
The 2006 XKR DHC will be leaving soon. The 2016 XJR LWB remains.

Does the plaque in the car tell you which # they are in the order, or do they all say 1 of 50?

Post some pictures and give us some details. I love the final fifty XKR. I looked at one in Los Angeles before, but it appeared to have a hard life. So, I passed on it.

Tried to buy one on BaT a couple years ago. The ‘person’ that out bid me (I’ve bitched about this before) turned out to be a buyer for a dealer, and I saw the car listed on a dealer website a week later for $10k more than the purchase price.

Just scanning the market, and see a Final Fifty coupe listed in Texas for what seems like a reasonable price, if it’s legit. If it was a ‘vert, I’d be checking it out.

This is being sold by a friend of mine, he owns the dealership. He had an XKR several years ago, which is how we met in Texas. He's a solid guy, a solid car guy. I'd be very interested in it but I just put money in mine, and well, I don't need a 4th XKR 😂

The white seats inside are 👌

Turns out, this car/dealer is 2.5 miles from my home. I'm going to head over for a look.

Go ask to talk with Logan, he's the owner, he's great.

I see this car is still listed. If you looked at it, any thoughts as to why it remains unsold? A Final Fifty for $40k doesn’t seem unreasonable.

kj07xk, I did go over to take a look and spoke with Josh (Logan, the owner, was not there). I'm guessing the reason it hasn't sold is that there isn't a big market in Tyler for Jaguars. I've only seen two other XK-style Jaguars in Tyler. The nearest Jaguar dealer is in Dallas (110 miles away) and they've told me they will not work on a car older than 10 years. So a local buyer would have to be a DIYer or be willing to use an independent shop.
Regarding condition of the car, it's nice but not pristine. I'm sure Josh will be upfront with you on this if you give him a call as he was quite open with me. If you want me to take a look at something specific on the car, PM me.
I'm including a picture of the car and another of a very cool old dealer's sign they have displayed.

@KurtC good information, but I’m personally not interested, as I’d have to take a sawsall to it to open the top. Just surprised it was still on the market. Thanks for taking a look.

"Special Editions" with only special names have zero appeal for me at premium prices. I'll say my car is a 'final five hundred' and charge ten grand more when I'm not going to sell it anyway.

The Final Fifty in the US is not just a name. It's the equivalent of the Dynamic R edition in the UK, their similar runout model. It has all of the steering and suspension upgrades of the XKR-S without the catfish front end; the Aero pack body kit; and the limited edition wheels.

I knew some of that but not all.
Still though, a bit more expensive than they should be, and they weren't even actually the Final Fifty.
OR, maybe I'm just being a whiner.

Yeah, the naming is unfortunately not accurate, which I think is a missed opportunity and a bit of a misleading scam on Jaguar's part. They should have just utilized the name they had in Britain, but they were banking on no one knowing. I don't believe that information was public until well after the event, only through matching VIN production numbers. None of the official Jaguar media mentioned that fact, and none of the media that reported on them had that info either.

I've been on the hunt for a while for a Final Fifty XKR and I've been emailing Josh about this one in Tyler. I'm pretty certain I'm going to get it, but I'm a bit hesitant. I've read the Carfax in detail and aware of the minor accident, but do you know anything else that is wrong with it?

While I don't have any personal details on this one, I can tell you from my own searching in the past 12-18 months that this is the lowest mileage one I've seen come up. The only other 2 I saw were 60k+ miles. I feel like the price on this one is very fair given the upgrades it packs and the mileage, it's clocking similar to a regular XKR. I'm sure you have seen similar on your searching, they don't come up often, and I've found that when you find a good example of a make/model you're after on the used market (particularly Jaguars in the US, where the selection is very small), you have to move quickly or you're stuck waiting for months again for another viable opportunity.
