Does your radar unit go off
I have noticed lately that my radar unit seems to go off when I am around new Volvo's and Audi's. Is it possible that the advanced radar warning systems on these cars is triggering it. It's not with all models but there is nothing else in the area and when they come close to me or me to them the signal goes nuts.

I was getting occasional random triggers on my V1 on the motorway, in areas far from any likely roadside source, which I assumed was various forms of active cruise. I've just upgraded it to the latest spec, which is supposed to include some better hardware and fancy algorithms to avoid those false alarms; we'll see how that works out.
However, cops seldom (if ever) use radar here anymore - it's only for speed cameras, since the handheld guns are all laser-based now.

Well I was out today and driving on a road where I know I never had a radar hit and out of a side street comes a new Audi A8. Looked brand new so all of a sudden my radar goes off. As I get closer to the Audi it increases and when I was 10 feet away it was full trigger. Followed the car for a few miles and my unit was still singing. He finally turned off and my unit went quiet. FYI
