Default Enjoying the diversity

Prior to joining this form and my purchase of my XKR I had been on other car forms based on my other cars owned. These were Lexus , Audi , Volvo , Ferrari and GMC owner forms. Out of all of them this form has the most world wide participation which I find refreshing. The information and discussions provide a unique perspective on the Jaguar owners in different locations. I just wanted to say thanks for that and keep it up.

I find the people here more personable than any other forum I have been on and I have even found friends abroad who I talk to regularly!! Love this forum.

Some really cool observations there and ones I tend to agree with, but then I'm biased I guess....lol

In all seriousness though, I've got to know people from such diverse backgrounds, countries and cultures, a real eye opener.

"Met" so many really nice friendly and helpful people too, unbelievably so sometimes.
Luckily we don't seem to have too many negative types here, trolling and causing issues, if so, they generally don't last long.
Either the mod team pick them up extremely quickly and or many of the long standing members just pipe up and make us aware and its dealt with.

I honestly believe its a genuine team effort from everyone on the forum, that helps to make it what it is.

Thank you all

One of the things I've noticed in the Jag community, initially in the Swedish Jaguar club and now in the international community as well, is that people are really well behaved. In some other communities, people can get pretty... colorfull when someone prefers another model year than they do. In the Jaguar community, the worst thing I've seen is "Sir, I respectfully disagree with your experience of this particular brand of sports air filter."

Dont know if it's because Jaguars attract cooler people, or if driving one just turns you into a gentleman, but it has def helped shape my love for the brand.
