Default Door Defender for Jaguar's cars / pristine body

Here is the door defender on the jag,

I wanted to open a thread cause I think its a real nice product, they do respond to all emails and guided me, very kind people. it's the model with suction ventouse. I feel much better about parking now, I used it only twice as I run far from parking close from another car but when it is needed i use them and i can leave with more peace of mind.

well if you want to know the feedbacks, i like it a lot, i have been using it more often in underground parking and in the street, people are curious , they check it out, but i have not found a punk trying to mess the whole car due to the doordefender yet.

That would be my concern--it's almost an invitation for some jealous jerk to vandalize your car since he sees that you are desperately trying to protect it. There are some real idiots out there.

I'm more concerned about the eventual marring the suction cups will do to the paint. I mean, it's pretty impossible to make sure the surface is completely clean before you apply those suction cups!

These suction are specially for our alu body but no I did not see any traces left yet, (and if there was any traces, a normal body/polish care will do) And really on underground parking people understand perfectly and if they watch it, it is to get the same, really a nice product, and like i said there is thousand time more weak parking spots than people willing to mess your car.

the classic grand opening of the door after a long ride, or when they enter an underground parking, this will not happenned to me anymore, people do not care, they are pissed of yes but its a great way to impeach them not to attract them to do it.

I red people laughing and saying i rather have dents in my car than setting these things all the time. its what is all about, some people just don't care. They may or not, get any dents, but they may be responsible for yours.

If i have a dent i may sell the car, I am like this. i fell strange at first using it and now i feel excelent and i don't care at people watching me doing it 3 sec....I do feel different how i care for my car anyway. I remember Vincent at bmcd telling me; i don't care about the mileage but the body! I want see a pristine body....my 4 last jags had no dents, nothing.

I always end up to find a wall nearby to park in undergrounds so i have one unit to set on one side only, and its very cool.
