Hi Everyone,

After spurring my XK to its top speed, i noticed the roof at the top of the rear window is loose. Basically, you can lift the top roof (black) from the window now and look directly at the interior fabric (light color).

Is there any "quick" fix for this using special glue.. or do i need to bring the car to a special garage to get a new roof or have this fixed?

 

I would also like to know as I feel this will happen to me!

 

Go to a reputable auto upholstery/top shop (Yelp for one) and get an estimate. That should show you what a proper fix will cost. You might have someone chime in with a cheap fix, though.
