Door Puddle Light Question
Hello
I have a 2007 XK Conv and the door puddle lights, right & left are not lighting up. I checked the bulbs and both seemed fine but I still replaced them just in case. After replacing the bulbs, the problem still existed. I then tested the two wires (removed the puddle light housing to test the wires by themselves-black and green/white) to see if there was power with a cheap fuse/wire tester from Auto Zone. The tester emitted a very very faint glow (barely noticeable) when I touched the green/white wire for both doors. I checked the Jag manual to see if there was a fuse for the puddle lights but I did not find any independent fuse. Now I’m stuck! Not sure what to do……I appreciate any assistance……Thanks in advance.
