Quick update:

Just grabbed a large format 3d printer for next to nothing that has a big enough bed for me to print the boot vents on using the carbon fibre filament.

I am going to spend a few days cleaning it up and calibrating it then doing a couple of test prints then I will run one off to see what its like.

Physical Rehab is going well, lost weight , eating good, roll on august to get my license back and a drive out finally!!

 

I have to say I'm impressed. I hope you're recovering well also. If you ever get around to selling the tweeter rings, I'll definitely buy two from you. Also, if you decide to make the tweeter/door trim covers that they slot into, I'm definitely up for buying those two. The price they're going for second hand is ridiculous. Keep up the great work!

 

I will be printing off the latest revision of the tweeter ring today. I have made a few adjustments and fingers crossed this is the last revision. The good thing about this is that if it fits as I hope it does I can also look at removing the metal grill part and printing the grill as part of the whole ring, simplifying it.

I have considered the actual door mount panel for the tweeter ring but I need to scan it in and I have no access to a laser scanner at the moment.
