Default Driver and power seats inop 2009 XK

Both power seats don’t work. Seat heaters works fine. Changed both seat module, still won’t work.
will a 10 way module work when the vehicle has a 18 way module?

Try holding the switch for 10 seconds.

Mu Indy did this to reset the passenger seat module.

They advised it was due to an FB sitting in the passenger seat and reclining to the stop point, the system had **** down to prevent motor damage

I just had both of mine re-calibrated by my indie. $150. My passenger side seemed ok but my drivers side would back would not go forward past a certain spot. It was reclined way to far back for my driving tastes. He said that when you disconnect the battery the seats and windows sometimes looses calibration. Best money ever spent.

If you changed the 18 way seat module with a new 18 way seat module then it could be a wiring fault to the module. See sticky at top of forum for electrical wiring diagrams electrical guides. If you replaced 18 way seat module with 10 way then without rewiring the connectors that will probably not work, compare wiring for 18way vs 10 way in the wiring diagrams. Of course check fuses (F1,F4,F9,F18) in passenger compartment fuse box see attached for 2010MY+. If you have a 2007-2009MY check owners manual for fuse numbers.

What switch are you referring to and how can I access it? I want to try this before taking it in. My won reclined my passenger seat too far and now it won't lean forward.(07 xk)

Thank you,
Rob
