And - absolutely no reply from the RICA tuning rep in USA.
Pretty sure I drilled a dry well. Seek elsewhere.

Try RICA corporate again? Perhaps the US rep is on vacation.

When it comes to tuning, just to update you guys...

Tuning options are limited and I have always been one to favor tuning my vehicles myself. To help extend the options I've been doing a little side project.

I've been working on a MAF to ECM piggy back controller which will trigger from a MAP sensor. This will tune the A/F to a more desired range 11.5-12.2:1 for WOT. It will use software to control the output voltages based upon inputs controlled by whichever signal you desire. This will allow for infinite adjust-ability during elevation changes, fuel, or other power upgrades in the future.

It's in the testing phase now, and once setup I believe this will resolve some of the concerns with tuning.

Bare in mind, I'm working to provide this as a plug and play setup. No wiring, splicing, etc. Optimistically I'm thinking an A/F adjustment on the 5.0L will net 20-30+hp.

I'll post some updates on results soon.

Regards,

Derek Fricke

Thanks for continuing to work on the 5.0 s/c. Looking forward to seeing the headers as well.
