Default exhaust pipe size?

I over-tightened and broke one of the clamps between the catalytic converter and the first muffler last weekend when I was working on my differential. I need to buy another clamp, but I don't want to have to jack up the car to measure it. Does anyone know the pipe size? My car is a 2010 XKR.

Of course, I could jack up the car, measure it, and drive my wife's car to the parts store tomorrow, but she drive's a silly-*** Fiat 500X. I look gay when I drive it (not that there's anything wrong with that). I'd rather just drive the Jag, wait an hour for it to cool off, then replace the clamp.

By the way... the clamp was surprisingly easy to break. I wasn't torquing on it like superman, but I was trying to get it snug. Then "POP!" It just snapped. Yeah, I know... should have used a torque wrench.

The dimension of the clamp is 59.4mm; the JLR part number is C2P3413.

The clamp is the same for both normally aspirated and supercharged engines.

Why did the clamp fail or break?

I don't know. I was just tightening it back up and I heard a pop. The bolt wouldn't tighten any more. It just spun. I didn't think I was over-torquing it, but apparently I was.

I also over-torqued one of those little nuts that hold the heat shield in place. It popped the stud right off. Guess I don't know my own strength.

Use that to your advantage, go to Midas, not only will they have the right size, they most likely wont charge you. There is no shame in brightening someone's day.

Just happened to me, I needed 2 rare sized pieces of exhaust pipe for my vintage and Napa did not have any, he asked me to go ask Midas next door, sure enough they refuse to accept money, no they did not want anything else either.
