Default Exterior Front Windscreen Seal Replacement?

New to me 2012 XK Convertible arrived in February and just noticing it is not there.

There is no exterior seal around the top and sides of the front windscreen and the seal at the bottom is lifting away from glass and deteriorating.
Any guidance on replacing these seals? DIY or Auto Glass Shop?

While washing the windows this weekend, I noticed black grease on the rag and determined it is coming from the gap between the glass and metal.
This triggered a recollection that on a couple occasions, while driving, I felt a drop or two on my lower left leg.
First concern was AC. But AC compressor replaced August 2024, Now I am thinking these may be connected

Thank you!

There is no exterior seal on these cars.
There is a rubber gasket inside the gap between the glass and body, that does deteriorate and rubs off as a black smear, just like most soft parts on vehicles.
Use some rubber/trim conditioner inside this gap, it will minimize powdering a bit.
I can't help with your wet leg though.

Thank you Cee Jay, Good to know.
is the trim/seal extending from under the hood to be in contact with the glass and divert water over it rather than water running under it?
It is also deteriorating.

My bottom seal is stuck to the glass. Maybe you need that replaced, or at least resealed.
