Default Required convertible height.

Ok, another question that isn’t in the forums but when answered it will be.

What is the peak height of the top on the x150 when raising and lowering?

I do actually need to know as, while my garage ceilings are over 24’, (try changing those lightbulbs), the garage door openers are on rails for normal height single width doors.

No problem for me, as I park in between the overhead garage door tracks and there's plenty of room for operating the top.

You shouldn't have any problems.

I'm pretty sure that a standard overhead single garage door is 8' wide.

Posted that in the car on a horrific 8.5hr drive.
(wife drove for an hour)

Just got home and measured.
Rails are 7’2”.
looks like the motor unit is about 1-2” higher.
so id say 7’4” clearance to open and close the top inside the garage.

I just did a Google AI search and here's what I got: "Unfortunately, the maximum height reached during the opening process is not explicitly specified in the provided search results."

Hopefully, you have a tape measure.

Congratulations on your new toy! Let's see the pics, outside and inside, and tell us how the drive home was. By the way, it's perfectly normal to peek into your garage every night before you go to sleep. Pleasant dreams!

Don't forget to update your signature now that you have it!

Oh Stuart. Premature Egradulations.
I go get it on the 15th.
Believe me, as soon as I pull away, I’ll be posting.
First in the Sticky Picture thread.
Second in the 08 portfolio registry.
Then probably another new thread so I can bask in the glory of joining the club.

Oh and yeah, that’s why I asked here. I always have AI scan all four jag forums and other resources before posting. Got same answer as you.
So when I get home with it, I will sort it and post in this thread the min clearance needed to open the top.

A quick measure as the top went up was just under 1800mm or about 70 inches?

If I remember, I take a measure when I take out the trash later tonight.

That's where mine is, a few inches below the top of my head. 70 inches is a good measurement.

You should be good to go. Quick eyeball with my tape measure was about 6 feet (which is above my head, and farther every year, so I had to stand on a stool to sight it in), similar to the comments above.
