Default External Rear View Mirror Problem

Hi Guys... I am wondering whether anyone knows how to synchronise the auto adjusting external rear view mirror (off side - not the drivers external mirror) after shifting from Reverse to Drive.

After adjusting my mirror for driving, if I select reverse it does the normal move in and down so that I can watch the kerb while backing, however once drive is selected again the mirror ends up pointing to the sky or somewhere other than where it was originally set.

I have tried all sorts of ways to fix it but to no avail. I did have this problem on a BMW I owned and I was shown a way to reset it so that it worked properly. I am sure that the Jag will be the same, so I am looking for that fix.

Thanks in advance.

Kev...

AFAIK you just set each position while in each 'mode'.

I.E. While in P,D or N set the mirrors as usual. Then put it in to R and set the passenger side mirror again. It should store the two different positions.

Make sure "Reverse Mirror Dip" is enabled in the settings via the touch screen first of course.
