I'd rather not.The XF don't even look half as good as the XK and the F-Type is just too small and the front looks like every other sports car there is and no longer looks like the cousin of Aston Martin even though the rear look of it does. Also i like to be able to fit something in my back seats even if people can barely fit back there. The XJ don't look all that great either, but it does looks good in its own class that looks better than majority of those type of cars when it comes to those big luxury vehicles if you really into those

yeah I like the exterior and like this Blue, The nose doesn't push out quite as much as the SRT8. The XF interior lacks something for me. Did they stop the 5.0L in 2012?

I guess I'm missing something with this posts. Just seems like going from a GT car to a family grocery getter. I'm old but guess not that old.

if anything, that's all they use for every Jaguar engine or else the watered down 3.0L they started using especially for the XE models

So where are the pictures of the s5? Maybe a review? I’m on my 5th Jaguar and most likely going to switch to a Lexus marque in the distant future

If they don't bring back the XK,Car i might end up switching to is a Tesla or maybe I can go for an absolute 2 seater. But i'm willing to only make that exception for owning 1 of those new cool looking C8 corvettes.Other than that,it isn't too many cars you'll find affordable and super cool looking unless you want to buy something that's near the age of an XK like a Viper or something

I had an X308 XJR for 5 years and I never bonded with it like my X100 and X150 XKRs. I’ve wondered if an XFR or newer XJR would be the same way. I legit never bonded with that XJR but I love my little VW TDI Station Wagon. So who knows how I’d be with the XFR/XJR lol.

I’ll say the LC500 is a beautiful car and I found it enjoyable to drive as a big fan of GT cars (a friend’s dad has one). I’m not 1000% on the grill but will legit own one down the road.

the trunk space never was a problem. You mean atleast the back seats finally work to fit people in them😂

tough crowd ! Don't think our jags are much more reliable I've already replaced the "built proof" 4.2 due to a spun bearing

I think the AMG GT is a great car as are the CLA and SL series. A lot of folks dis MB but is the cost of ownership really any higher than Jaguar? Certainly reliability is on par. For me, I've had 2 MB's and 4 Jaguars. The Super V8 was a superior ride in every way. It was just a damn gun boat @ 17' 3" long. Loved the S Class MB as well but it was huge for my wife. Driving behind her, all you saw was a steering wheel and knuckles.

The XK has a timeless exterior - yeah I know the interior is dated as is the tech but name a car that isn't over time.

I don't want a sedan anymore and the wife's Cadillac serves our everyday utility needs. I wouldn't turn down an offer above $20k on my XK. I know it won't happen though so I'm good with what I have and grateful I can have it.

Both purchased new. Surprisingly the S Type was basically flawless, just getting old and the risk profile was making me nervous. The XKR will probably always be my favorite car despite the nagging Leaper issues with the screen, the horrible leaking duckbill and the rear window pulling away from the top. The original convertible top would need to replaced within six months, the original exhaust system was not to last much longer, the original rods and bushings all needed replacement and it would need brakes and tires within 5000 miles. Just did not believe it prudent sink that much money into a 14 year old Jag. Carvana was a most convenient and painless solution and I was satisfied with the $17k they offered.

Replaced it with a beautiful 2022 Audi S5 cabriolet which "only" took five months from order to delivery.

Good luck with your cats and a sincere thank you to all the members of this forum who have made many valuable contributions helping me resolve issues along the way and the emotional support all Jag owners require. I'll miss my XKR and this forum; if Jag still produced an XKR cabriolet model I would still be a Jag owner.
As I am considering a purchase of an XKR this was helpful. Much appreciated.

These are not your father's S5's......... I'd suggest you try one out for fun, but there are not any on the lot right now.
