Order these from the above vendor. Once the order is placed they usually ship the same day or next. You can order on-line and pay via Paypal.

Once they arrive about 5 days later...you just insert into the hole and twist down.

You just saved $38.00....cost for a box of 10 is about $12.50 which includes shipping. The original product comes from Auveco Products, but when I called Auveco, they will NOT sell direct, only through the distributors.

A box of 10 will replace all the old ones and will leave you with a few remaining. These are an exact fit for the Jaguar.

We all need to stick together as Jaguar owners to help and assist each other and find the best deals available when it comes to items, parts, aftermarket accessories etc. We are one big family here on Jaguar Forums regardless if we have every met, spoken or know each other.

What's great about the "Jaguar Forums" is .....it's worldwide. So many great people here.

Default fastners

Thanks guys,
It just so happened, this morning I lifted me bonnet to look at me engine cover and other covers I might have dressed up using the hydro-graphic process. Yep!, I found a couple missing lock fasteners. I've since ordered a pack of 10 from "Clipfasteners.com". Thanks for the link......

Hey guys,
Received my box of clip fasteners this weekend. They are darn near un-distinguishable.

Yep, we're cornering the market! Won't be long, before Jag comes to us asking for them. LOL!

Planning on going around the car now that spring is here and tidy it all up. Replacing any worn or missing items. I'm in need of many front under shield bolts from what I can remember last time i was under it. Looking for a source for those also. Guessing I'll find quite a few other common items that will need attention also...

Please post about it. I may find more things I need (or don't need) to replace without actually looking myself

Will do. I know I need to change a few bulbs and will need to access via wheel well. I'll post some findings and pics of installs. I know I have a little touch up to do... damn lower front valance!

That's funny. Kid's LS needs a few for the cowl and radiator covers. None of my covers are installed on the front of the XKR. Since they control air flow through the radiator I'm going to install them all. Now I need to figure out how many to order. A gross should do it.

Was thinking about adding a splitter. But that will just make it lower!

Add the DLR's from Adamesh while you're under there. Just did that for my 08 XK, and they look great. I feel "safer" with them on as well, plus it really adds a cool, refreshed look. Big Otter posted a very detailed description of the process in this thread, and as long as you have the wheel well covers off, it will be a breeze.

Kurt, thanks for the link. I like the DRL's and will consider. Makes send while I am pulling things apart. Lots of good stuff on that site. Happy to see a currency converter there! Other suggestions welcome while I'm at it.

This is great.

How about the fasteners that hold the engine cover on a XKR?

Adamesh makes a great after-market wind screen. You'd be stunned at how much of a difference it makes in top-down comfort cruising. They're simple to install and you can fold them down with one hand when you don't want the screen up. Highly, highly recommended.

As JWooky says, need fasteners for the engine cover, one of mine is missing.
