Strange thing happened today. After not using my 07 XK Coupe for over a week I take it for a spin, change the CD and the darn thing freezes on me. Won't play, can't change disc, can't eject disc. Completely locked up. The radio works fine.

I turn the radio on and off - no joy. Turn the car on and off still no joy. At this point I'm looking up the coverage on my extended warranty. Return to the car, start it up and hey presto The Rippingtons come blasting through as if nothing ever happened.

I'm hoping this was just a one off but wondered if anyone has suffered the same or know what might be going on.

This is a common Jag anomaly. Under warranty I had to take it to the dealer for some gizmo to be hooked up to my car and reload software.

Since then it's happened 3 more time. It comes back after the car sits for a few hours. It's annoying considering all the LCD control's and for a $88k car is totally unacceptable.
