First time post looking for Wheel color.
I just purchased a 2012 XKR-S and love the car so far.
I have searched the forum but have been unable to find the correct color for the wheels. Looks a little like a "storm Grey color but not sure. These cars have the dark grey color rims. Hoping someone here will be able to help.
As a side note, I installed new brake rotors and pads all round this weekend, a relatively easy job to do but you do need a 9mm Hex head to remove the calipers (not readily available so purchase one before starting the job) rears require a 7mm hex which are easily attainable. Also a rear caliper wind in tool comes in handy to retract the piston. Apart from that, very straight forward.
Thanks in advance

Wheels for Jaguar vehicles are manufactured by a variety of suppliers using different paints although many recent ones are versions of sparkle silver which is pretty easy to duplicate in its various guises.
It would help to know the name of your wheels or I will identify them for you if you post a picture. Also a picture of the damage would help and I will do my best to advise how to get round it. Just been sorting some X Type Belize today and an XF Selena yesterday.
Kerbed one of my XK Tamanas early on but pretty easy to sort and match except had to spray it in the kitchen during the winter. Please do not tell my wife!!!

Am assuming you just have some kerbing on one otherwise matching the colour would not be so vital.
The anthracite coloured wheels I have looked at on the internet do not look to have a lot of sparkle in them. Also assuming you are sorting this yourself am not sure what makes of paint are available to you. In UK for a darker grey I start with Simoniz STEEL WHEEL PAINT and see how that matches. Alternatively I have been known to take a wheel into Halfords and match it with the closest car body paint. This has served well for Jaguar (BBS) Oyster Gold.
It is not to difficult to feather paint in on wheels since the kerbing is usually on the outer edge and a mask (slightly elevated card circle so as to feather and not get hard paint lines) can be situated over the spokes and centre. It is possible to get good results and keep costs low without professional kit with a little patience and ingenuity!!
Hope this helps.

2013 XKRS
Im looking at refurbishing all 4 of mine. They have been damaged from bad cleaning etc.
If i don't go a completely different color to something like this AM.. this tesla wheel color looks to be a decent match....TW01 (Gunpowder)
Opinions on that gold color .....
What do you think of this color combo...Polaris white also. I would add a gloss black inner drum though to "break" it up a bit. This AM was drop dead

Here's a couple of wheel color visualizers. It would be helpful if you added you make and model to your signature:-)
