Frogdogfan....is this your XKR175 at the Supercars Saturday yesterday at the Arboretum in South Barrington? If so...looks great! I would resize them but they aren't my pics and so I don't want to alter them....as I saw them online. Looked like most of the cars at the show were exotics. Planning to go to the next one next month!

 

It does look quite pretty - that's probably the only carpark where you'd be fairly sure you weren't going to get a dent in the door.

I wish I was able to remove my front licence plate down here...

 

Actually we need to put front plates here also in Illinois. I guess there was a grey Lambo LP640 SV. Last month there was a Ferrari 599 GTO which I would have loved to see. Also the 2 Ford GTs are my buddy's friends. Anyone in Chicagoland wanted to check it out it's the first Saturday of each month from 9:00am-Noon. Nope...not my 175. Looks just like mine, except I added the chrome-finish hood louvers. Guess there's another 175 in the NW Chicago burbs!

When is the next event? This is pretty close to my home. In fact, I pass by The Arboretum every day.

 

Supercars Saturday is every first Saturday of each month....of course only in the summer. Next one is July 2.

If you would like your car to be in the show...you will need to register. If you would like to just checkout the cars...you can park at the other lot and walk to the show. I remember the original gathering was in Schaumburg in the Unos/Panera parking lot but we were kicked out becuase of the ricers started showing up and peeling out onto Roselle Rd.

I'll be to the next one but not sure if I'll register the Jag or SL.

FYI....looks like the July 2 Supercar Saturdays show has been moved to Bollingbrook. I'll probably skip this one with the longer drive and the 4th of July weekend. Hopefully the August show will be back at South Barrington. Anyone going to the August show...I'll seeya there!
