Earlier this week I took a friend to lunch in my 07XKR. When I pulled into the space with front end facing the curb, I went a little to far and the lower part of my front bumper assembly actually hit the curb. The curb was high enough that it scraped the underside of the lower area. Luckily I was barely moving and did not go very far. I backed off, got out and inspected the lower part of the bumper area (just below the lower grill) and it looks like you can just barely see where the lip of the lower bumper was scratched. The underside got some gouges though.

I know BMW's have forward sensors, and of course we have back up/rear sensors. Is it possible or does the option exist for forward sensors to be fitted on these cars?

 

I dont know the answer,but I sure would like to know .I have only had my car for a day and I did the same luckly no damage
