I guess I don't see the big deal with the front plate holder. For those who want to save from drilling holes for the next owner there are DIY methods to attach the front plate. The Jaguar plate holder can be mounted both right side up and upside down. The difference is right side up the top of the plate sticks above the center bar. I took the simple way by mounting a piece of aluminum angle under the center bar and attach the plate holder to it. So no holes in the front and I comply with the law. So being in a front plate stated and having a BIL and his buds in the NYSP I don't get the excuse to be pulled over. By the way ALL LEO's know that there is a front plate holder for all cars so to think they don't is being naive. They tell me it is a good excuse to pull a car over . Just one of those revenue getters. By the way laser speed enforcement doesn't need a front plate to work but the licence plate readers on the police cars need them. So enjoy the ride and don't worry about the small stuff. Life is short.

 

I am going to try a stick on on the nose cone when I get my 150, worked on my XK8 and passed Ministry of Transport tests each year for 9, it'll be the same plate as have it on retention

Although I appreciate that multiple state and federal laws may be breached for those of you across the pond
