Soon getting the rear discs and pads fitted to my 2007 xkr. The car is fitted with rear slotted and grooved discs, from previous owner and the front are just the jag spec flat disc. I think i'm going to change the front discs for the grooved and slotted type like the rear. Anyone have them fitted and what type they used, pics would be nice.

 

I have slotted and drilled rotors on all four wheels. My mechanic has a source that custom makes them. I had the first front set replaced a couple of days ago as they had started to shimmy on high speed (freeway) deceleration. The new ones are worse and will be replaced under warranty (less than one day of use before I knew there was an issue). But I was very happy with the previous set which probably lasted about 25K miles. I believe Stop Tech manufactures drilled and slotted rotors for the XKR, here in the states.
