Default Fuel gauge fluctuation

I've noticed that after filling up and driving about 25-30 miles, the fuel gauge will start moving down but at times will move back up. I can't verify if it does it throughout the entire range, but it is noticeable after filling up. Any one else experience this? Are we talking about a fuel float or does this car even have one? Thanks all.

There are two senders, one on each side of the tank. The gauge shows the average of the two readings. I guess it's possible that one of the senders has a fault at the top of its range. Since one of them can't be accessed, replacing it means replacing the tank. The other one is attached to the pump, which is removable. I'd say: provided it doesn't fluctuate at the bottom of the range, let sleeping dogs lie...

All I see is my fuel gauge going down. I wish I'd see it start going up.
