Default Get your thermostat changed immediately.

Car is in getting brakes done, service and polish. Ask mechanic to fit a new thermostat as we know there's no temp gauge and a few posts on temp warning light on. We'll glad I did it was starting to stick. He should me the old one and even the rubber washer had gone completely sideways on it. Don't wait it's not a big job.

Thumbs up

Replacing the coolant and thermostat both every 5 years or so is smart preventative maintenance.
