Default Getting a new window sticker

For those who do not have their original window sticker is there a way you can get a new one printed from Jaguar. If so how did/would you go about doing it. Is it a matter of going to a dealer with the VIN # and requesting a print or is it more complicated.

It is call the Monroney sticker. I havent heard of anyone getting a duplicate.

I know on rare cars, such as a 426 hemi-cuda, the Monroney sticker adds value to the price and authenticity of the car.

A recent arrest ws made in southern cal for a guy who made a sticker that was used to authenticate a mismatched numbers camaro

Jagtoes,

I wish I could tell you that you can get a duplicate sticker, but my experience is otherwise.

A couple of years ago I wrote to Jaguar USA and they told me to ask my dealer. The dealer would not reprint the Munroney sticker, but he was able to print out all the details based on the VIN.

This has been previously discussed on the Forum: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...nvoices-70623/ and https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/g...sticker-34982/

Reprinted window stickers for American muscle cars are readily available from several third-party vendors. Window Sticker Reproductions for Corvette, Chevrolet, Dodge, Oldsmobile, Plymouth, Pontiac, Buick, and Cadilac Not so easy for Jag owners, unfortunately. Maybe if you harass your dealer enough he'll pressure Corporate to reprint one for you. The squeaky wheel... well, you know.

There have been a number of discussions on this topic in XK8/XKR forum. Have a look at post #12 in this thread:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...nvoices-70623/

Keith Westra contacted Jaguar North America and was advised dealers can print replacement Monroney Stickers. Unfortunately, in his case the vehicle was too old and the data had been purged from their system.
