I just noticed my windows will not close using the key FOB lock button after holding the lock button for 3 seconds. I have global open and close turned on in vehicle settings. When I hold the door lock button for 3 seconds the windows close. I can use the unlock button on the key FOB to open the windows after pressing it for 3 seconds. Anyone else experience this?

I have Steve's remote convertible top module installed. My car is a Canadian car and the user's manual explicitly says the smart key FOB can be used to close the windows with global close enabled.

 

I have the same issue anyone have any solutions?

 

I do believe I have global on, just tried and mine won't open OR close. I'll check for certain later on.

 

Yes. You need to reset your windows. (that process where you hold the window button) Once reset, it should work. I think its more like 5s and should also work when the doors are locked.

 

Yep, GO and GC are enabled on mine. The Open works on the front windows only, Close does absolutely nothing. All my windows are always programmed since Convertible.

 

I'll give that a try. I'll report back my results. For what it is worth; I checked the vehicle option and global opening is selected. I also checked in SDD and it is enabled in the CCF..
