Default Golfers it can be done

Ended up buying another golf bag which is a small cart bag. It replaced my Cobra weekend bag which also held the normal 14 clubs . So today I put both full bags in the trunk and it fits without any issues. Still need to remove and place the driver/3-5 woods but everything fits. Shoes fit on top or put them in the back seat which we use for a 3 day weekend carrier on luggage. So the bride and I can go for a long weekend or weekday golf trip.

Great news, I'll need to run by Golfsmith and pick up a new bag.

I'm still amazed by how much golf equipment fits in my XK's trunk. Like you, I can get 2 golf bags in with shoes & visors. What's more amazing ... I can get 2 golf bags with shoes & visors in the trunk of my NSX as well! Nobody believes me about either car until I open the trunks and they see with their own eyes!

Jagtoes,
My best friend of nearly 60 years and I have played sports against each other nearly every weekend for at least 55 years. The sports have changed over the years from basketball and baseball to tennis and for the last 15 years golf. I pick him up every weekend and 52 times a year we go out and get frustrated (haven't been rained out in years). In my 2002 XKR where the old style convertible top stacks on top of not into the trunk, I could actually fit 4 sets of clubs if I wanted, the trunk is so cavernous. In my 2010 XKR coupe, I can get two bags in but the driver and 3 wood of one of the bags has to lay diagonally across the trunk outside of the bag. So when looking for a car, I really do take into consideration whether or not it's a two golf bag trunk. It's why an F-type would never do.

I think you'll also appreciate this as you had a vintage Ferrari. Several years ago, my friend and I drove down to San Diego for a car show and some golf in my '72 Pantera. It has a very large rear trunk compartment that sits on top of the transmission (and lifts out when you want to show off the engine and the polished ZF case). We actually got 1 bag and both sets of clubs in the trunk and the other empty bag in the front seat. Can you imagine doing that in a modern Ferrari or Lambo supercar?

That's great. I can get my bag including 3 and 5 wood in, but must try the second bag without.
Thanks for the pic.

Have you noticed that none of the above confirmations of golf club hauling specifically stipulates that they can actually get the clubs out of the trunk. In my best Jerry Seinfeld impression, "anyone can get them into the trunk. Its getting them out that is important".

Ha , the difficulty had not been getting them out of the boot but to get them into the boot. Oh , the answer is yes you can get them both out. The only thing you need to do is remove your driver and fairway woods. These can still be put into the boot but must be out of the bag.

I put my electric trolley in the boot and golf bag on a sheet on the front passenger seat.

My bride might be uncomfortable with the bag on her lap.

Ha ha , yeah some of my golfing buds get intimidated when she beats them but all is fun at the 19th hole. One of the several reason for leaving the Ferrari world was lack of space for a 2nd set of clubs . Before I changed bags I would put the 2nd set in the rear seats. Now don't need to do that and can use it for a travel bag for a long golf weekend.

How about the guy who mounted his kayak on his XK. It's longer than his car, I believe he was in Hawaii and has posted several pictures.
