Default H&R Lowering Springs

I am looking to have my 12 XKR upgraded with a Spires stage 3 exhaust and was thinking while I have it there why not upgrade some other things.... I am not going to mess with the engine tune or the cats - but was wondering about these lowering spring. It says they are available through tirerack.com for 315 plus shipping. Does anyone know anything about these springs or have other springs they recommend. Any issue with ride, speed bumps, etc? Is the price good on tirerack? Thanks for tips and info!

I paid $317 throught Amaz** so it looks like a good price. I have a 2011 XKR but have not installed the springs yet because LR tire already rubs over curbs or large bumps. I have non-stock wheels and the offset must be different than OE wheels.

ok so I went to the H&R website...there are tons of products but they do not mention cars which can be used... So what is the dealio? There are springs, coilovers... what can be upgraded on our cars and why would we do it??? How are coilovers better than springs???

I have the H&Rs on my 2010 XKR, while the ride is actually pretty comfortable the car is just too low. 22" wheels and ive got some rubbing on the rear just a tad and the fronts rubbed so bad I need to replace the inner fender wells. I've currently got some XKR-S springs on the way and going to see if I like those better. Love the look of how it sits now but its just too low to be a true drivers car (for me, anyway). Wish they made them with different options for ride height.
