Which Haines Manual do I get for my 2013 XK, I'm told its actually an XK8? Thanks.

 

Download the free factory manual from the sticky at the top of this forum list.

 

Your car is an XK not an XK8 (which was the nomenclature for the previous generation car; take no further advice from the person or source who told you that your car was an XK8!) and Haines manuals are inadequate. As suggested, download the factory manual.

 

The Haynes manuals were good when cars were simple. Now they are essentially for entertainment value.

 

Haynes Publishing gave up on Jaguar workshop manuals with the X-Type.



Their only subsequent offering was You & Your Jaguar XK8 by Nigel Thorley:



Subtitled Buying, enjoying, maintaining, modifying this was little more than a model history of the earlier XK8/XKR (1996-2005).

It was updated with a second edition published by Veloce in 2015:



Again, this was more of a model history and buyer's guide of the XK8/XKR (1996 - 2005) and the XK/XKR (2006 - 2014).
