Default Has anyone seen this dash warning?

This warning just popped up after a drive in my 2008 XKR
"engine temperature indication fault"

Can anyone tell me what this means?

What is at fault?

Thanks in advance

Haven't seen the warning...found these codes...

P1798 Coolant Temperature Circuit Malfunction

P1183 Engine Oil Temperature Circuit Malfunction
P1184 Engine Oil Temperature Out Of Self Test Range

P1114 Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor Circuit Intermittent Low Voltage/IAT - B Circuit Low Input
P1115 Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor Circuit Intermittent High Voltage/IAT - B Circuit High Input
P1116 Engine Coolant sensor out of range/ECT Sensor Out Of Self Test Range
P1117 Engine Coolant Sensor intermittent/ECT Sensor Intermittent

P1369 Engine Temperature Light Monitor Failure

You will have to read the fault code in the computer to know for sure

Hopefully you will have an Auto Parts store nearby that will read the codes for you. Definitely let us know what you find...

If you aren't experiencing other problems/conditions associated with over heating it's probably just a sensor. Be careful with your engine and don't overheat it.

Also, just as general knowledge, I am not sure how many are aware of it but the computers in these cars record *all* of the events that occur with these cars and the associated driving conditions that occurred with the event.
