Good Evening Forum,

Looking for ideas on how to repair non operating head restraints without tearing apart seat covers, if possible. Motors run but restraints do not move. Would greatly appreciate any ideas.

? Motorized head restraints?
Are you in the right forum or is this something on the second generation XK I didn't know about?

 

they are motorized for adjustment and also for fully retracting to clear dashboard when front seat is folded to allow access to back "seats"

 

ahhh, got it.... Your looking for the early XK. Our part of the forum is dedicated to the 2007 and newer.
