Hello, I’m hunting for a right hand headlight for my UK spec 2014 XK. The correct part number is BW8313W029DB.

I’ve located one from a LHD car with part number BW8313W029FB. Here’s a photo of its identifying label;


The identifying label for the left headlamp is shown in the photo below;



I’ve read that the beam pattern is the same on both LHD and RHD cars but unsure whether the one i have located is a suitable alternative with its different part number. I am also aware of multiple headlight options and would appreciate any guidance or advice from the forum members.

Read a couple of threads where RHD cars in Europe have had to change the beam pattern to LHD so don't think pattern is the same. It is doable to do it yourself if your handy.:-)

Thanks for your reply but this relates to an earlier model headlight. The one fitted to mine was introduced from MY2012.

Interested to know if anyone has knowledge or experience of the exact same model of light please.

The part number I’m looking for is BW8313W029DB and the one I have located is BW8313W029FB.

If beam pattern is the same why have RHD and LHD headlights? Still think there is a difference.:-)
