I have a problem - washed my car this morning and a lot of moisture developed inside my passenger headlamp unit. Obviously there’s a moisture leaks somewhere. How do I begin to trouble shoot this? Are there some pain point areas with headlights that I should inspect? Need guidance, thanks in advance!
My wifes 2013 XK has the same issue. Im waiting for my 2015 to develp the issue then tackle them all at the same time. Ive been watching videos on how to bake them for a while and pry off the lens. That is the fix. On the 2013-22 Range Rovers, they also have this issue on the rear tail lights. The fix? Drill a small hole at the bottom of the light to let moisture escape.
I opened the access cap for the bulb replacement and all of the moisture dissipated in minutes. Wish I knew this earlier as now I have small black specks (mold?) that developed within the fixture. I'll probably end up tinting the headlights before i decide to spend $1k+ for a new unit.
