Default Heated Windscreen Wires & RadarDetectors

Does anyone know, please (either theoretically or from practical experience) whether the heater wires embedded in a heated windscreen block or reduce the radiated signals reaching a radar detector such as Snooper 4ZERO Elite BT (which actually picks up - or tries to - radiated radar & laser transmissions, rather than just using GPS and an on-line database to tell you when you are near the location of a known speed detector system) ?

It would act somewhat like a Faraday Cage, so yes, it should negatively affect it if it is positioned behind it.

Thanks for the replies and I appreciate the theory.

But does anyone happen to know from practical experience whether such a detector will work OK on top of the dash of an X150, please? There's nowhere else to put it (it's got to 'look' through the windscreen, obviously) and I don't want to waste my money!
