Default Hello from Illinois

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum having just purchased a 2011 XK with only 12k miles on it. I have owned several sports cars but as I get older I want something different than every Tom Dick and Harry.
I love the drive, the sound, and the features. But the reliability is a concern. I have read several threads and now understand it's a labor of love. Today we had a company car show. It was a blast to see other enthusiasts.
When leaving the top stuck 3 inches from being closed and not having the forum knowledge, I drove 20 miles at 30 mph holding on to the roof for dear life. If someone can point me to the 2011 owners manual I would appreciate learning how to fold the top open hoping it will reset manually. (note the Allen wrench process didn't work.) The luggage cover is secure...thanks

Hi Phil,

Welcome to the Jaguar Forums! It's great to have you with us.

I have moved your post to the forum for the X150, which is the Jaguar factory project code for your 2011 XK. Here you will find knowledgeable owners of similar cars who will do their best to help.

Cheers,

Don

It's in the STICKIES section at the top of this X150 forum, here's a link. Just X out the popup for dropbox and do whatever you want.

Default Vert Top Issues

Thank you all for the feedback and suggestions I read through. I was able to open the top and reset everything manually and then powered her up and voila she is working fine. It saved me a hundred bucks or more at the dealership I am sure!!
